Utterly sublime - even worth the wait for someone who hates waiting. Far from expensive for what they offer I have eaten myriad 'tonkatsu' over the years and never had anything quite like this. Splendid service too.
Absolutely amazing Tonkatsu. The best I've tasted so far in actual fact. The batter that surrounds the pork is so light, yet crispy and tasty. The meat is so soft and succulent - not undercooked/overcooked and full of flavour. Be prepared to queue up though - could take up to half an hour+. But worth it. Be mindful that it can take around 20 minutes for your dish to be prepared/cooked. Service is top notch by the staff too and very accommodating even for foreigners. Thank you for giving us a great experience
Really amazing food. Its definitely worth the wait. What a hidden gem (not so hidden since its in michelin guide) but when i was there i only saw locals
The tonkatsu was some of the best food I had during my 2-week trip in Japan. Unbelievably juicy and tender, and good prices too. Worth every penny.
The food is always great, and well worth the wait! The cutlets are always juicy and never dry, and you can get one refill for your rice.
