Great spot to shop and view all of Tokyo. The price was a bit much in my opinion but all in all it was well worth it. There is a higher priced ticket to skip the line and hit the highest observation point. This is the ticket we chose as the line was 2 hours long. Once in the observation deck, there were plenty of photo ops and signs pointing out landmarks across Tokyo. They had a pop up shop of Charlie Brown which was pretty neat. If your in the area it’s worth a visit.

The best tourist place in Tokyo. The is landmark of Tokyo where we can see entire Tokyo city panoramic view from the deck at 350 floor. This is one of best place in my life. Don't miss the glass floor walk in this tower. The best time is to visit this place at evening 4-5 pm so that you can experience day and night view of Tokyo 😍

At first, I thought this was expensive at 3000 yen for 350m and then a further 1000 for the next level but this was for international fast track. When we got there we were advised it was quiet and not to use international but go to the main line/queue this reduced the cost to 2940 yen for both. Although note, you purchase the 2nds ticket for the highest part at 350m. Note: if you buy combo online it is more expensive. . At 350m it is very good and we were fortunate that it was a very clear day and had some great views. There is a cafe that sells ice cream, cakes drinks and a small selection of main meals. Really nice to sit looking out of the window at the views. However, going to the top though is well worth it. There are exceptional views and to walk around the outside so to speak is great. Indoors you walk around and up the tower. With the sun shining through it is warm up there. There is a glass floor at 350m which is worth looking through to give perspective. The sky tree is easily accessible by train/ metro and is above a very large mall with food court fresh food and shops galore

Giving a 3/5 because I didn’t go all the way up. I have such a hard time rationalizing paying to get to the top to see views, didn’t want to pay. But you can get part way and be inside the building without paying (at least when you come into that subway/train stop). Super cool building, that’s why I’m giving it 3/5! What I find the coolest is the architecture, so I prefer to admire that from the outside. I’m sure the view from the top is wonderful, I’ve just done it before with other buildings and it’s not for me.

Definitely something you don’t want to miss in Tokyo, as it is the worlds tallest tower. You will not regret paying the extra money to go to the highest observation deck, especially if this will be your only visit. There are fast lane admissions for visitors with a foreign passport as the tower can be very busy. However, the day we visited the staff recommended we do normal admission as the crowds were smaller. It was much appreciated honesty.
