Nice to look at. To our surprise, there is a free elevator system so you are able to cross the bridge as a pedestrian - note that they have closing times so you will need to be aware of this if you do cross. It didn’t feel particularly pleasant (as a walker) as the cars were speeding by and the juddering of the structure created an uneasy feeling, so the experience was nice and brief. You can also get the metro and may end up in a taxi along the bridge. The views may be worth visiting for.

My wife, daughter and I walked across this during our visit in September 2019 from Tokyo towards Disney and we loved it. Great views and a lovely park and beach at the other side.

Came here at night and were disappointed completely (( nothing beautiful here, don't be fooled by the comments, the lighting of the bridge is not like in commercial pictures. But the harbour looks alright. We took the rainbow promenade, but perhaps it was too dark already to see something pretty...

Pretty tiring crossing the bridge on foot would suggest taking the train. But views of rainbow bridge during sunset were amazing with the Tokyo tower and skyline in the backdrop

Can't really recommend getting all the way over the to see that the bridge. It's not always lit up at the pictures show, and the promenade is really easy to miss.
