A very worst place japanese chain restaurant in shibuya , very slow, very bad services, in food and beverage industry, untrained staffs, Bell speaker very noisy if you sit on table # 10 DO NOT GO THERE , if you are a foreigner and does NOT speak japanese.

Thiz place were recommended by local who knows about food locally. It is quick stop simple place to have nice reasonable cot and food. However I had interesting experience. First their ordering system tablets were out of action at the tablet. It weren't working properly so we had to move to the next table. Once seated we ordered with English menu. First few bites were OK then I have found little bit of broken plastic tips. Yes plastic bits from the food (size of 1 yen coin) . I think it was broken corner bit from the food plastic container. I've shown the plastic then server apologise then took the food away for replacement. I was feeling too well after that. But the replacement food took little awhile to arrive as this is busy place. My friend already finished the food by the time I hag received the replacement food. Overall not so good experience.

One can never go wrong eating at Ootoya.It's located at the basement of the building.Very crowded at dinner time.The fish dishes are very good.There other meats selection that are cooked in sauce.

The recommended set menu here is kind of fusion of chinese and japanese. But taste like at home-type cooking. So it's okay I guess.
