Amazing experience. You can get to see lot of Tokyo skyline when you are on top. 2 types of coaches. In one there is transparent base from which you can directly see through. Others have solid base. 1st type of coaches are less so waiting time is more. Roughly 30-40 minutes. Otherwise waiting time is 10 minutes approx.

Great view of the surrounding area. The cost is ¥1000 regardless of whether you take a coloured or clear cabin. The line was practically non existent at 1300 on a Saturday. Only complaint would be that there are like 10 coloured cabins for every one clear cabin, resulting in 20-30 minute waits even with no line. Still worth the wait though!

It reminded me of the London Eye. We get to choose the cabin (colored or the transparent) and I chose the colored cabin. But I so wish I could have chosen the transparent cabin as It would have been a breathtaking view from it. The view from up there was splendid and I love Tokyo more post this visit.

1000¥ ($12nzd)for 16min ride around the wheel. Waiting line was not long, with eta's displayed (10x longer if you want a see-through cabin) Thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet in the evening. Beautiful views that I think are more colourful and vibrant at night time. If going up with a partner, then there's plenty of time to get a bit raunchy during the journey as no one can see you till the top and even then at night it could be quite exciting. Highly recommended on the to-do list

Thought it was well worth the price especially for the see through portion of the ferris wheel. There was one terrifying moment where it stopped suddenly right at the top but otherwise it was a great experience
