Small but excellent museum. The display descriptions are all in Japanese, but there is enough information in English to know what you are looking at. Their collection is enormous and as such only small parts are displayed at any one time. I advise you to check ahead so the current selection matches your interests.

The location is great, easy to find and convenient. Unfortunately, they are closed until their climate control (air conditioning, etc) gets fixed. at first I was annoyed, but I'd rather a historic collection be preserved in proper climate than exposed to the Tokyo humidity :) If you speak Japanese, give them a call to see if they are open :)

A little bit expensive for the small size but there are incredible garments on display and it is definitely a must see if you love fashion and design! The staff didn't have much English but were very gracious and helpful.

Embroidery show was beautiful- very little English but there is some. Downstairs is Japanese embroidery and Upstairs is the rest of the world. 30 min is plenty to see it all. 500yen admission.
