Very clean location, nice cabins. I liked that you could get breakfast at Sukiya next door as your option if you opted in for that on your reservation.

I enjoyed my stay. It served the purpose of a place to sleep, shower, and close proximity to train and 'attractions'. Youre able to choose bottom or top beds. Towels are provided each day (only one time). There is option for breakfast and drink bar but I believe better deals are available outside the hotel. The spa (jetted hot tub and a sauna) is a small area. Its located with showers. The showers are individual stalls.

Cabins are large enough and baths are very hot ! The lounge is also very stylish and the service is perfect !

I enjoyed my stay as well. Nice hostel, clean, the cabins are big enough compared to other cabin hostels i've been in. The showers are in the onsen itself, so you have to be ready for this i guess. You can rent a bike just two streets away. It was a great starting point to visit the city.

Location is very good, really close to the Metro station. Place has more privacy than a typical hostel. Sauna is an amazing way to let you unwind after walking while day in Kyoto. Bad part is the air conditioning indoor, feels like an AC unit can do more good than a TV, bed is rather hard and pillow doesn’t provide much support. Depends on what you are looking for since there are certain trade offs
