Villa Cimbrone offers the most memorable view of the Amalfi Coast. You can admire the profile of the Cilento Mountains and next to it the plain on which the ancient city of Paestum was built.

What to expect?

With its immense gardens and dreamlike views, Villa Cimbrone offers the most memorable view of the Amalfi Coast. In the distance, you can admire the profile of the Cilento Mountains and next to it the plain on which the ancient city of Paestum was built. The main path, Viale dell'Immenso, includes a pergola, which is most noticeable in summer with the white and blue of the wisteria in full bloom. The gardens themselves are adorned with temples, statues and gazebos that clearly confer a romantic touch. On your way through the gardens, you will see: The Statue of Ceres, which is located in a small temple immediately adjacent to the belvedere; the Poggio of Mercury; the Temple of Bacco; the Eve Cave; the Statue of David, a copy of the famous sculpture of the victorious Donatello's David; the Roses Terrace and the "Tea Room", a rectangular garden with a Moorish style gazebo. After this visit and a break, in the afternoon your guide will drive you to Amalfi. The Amalfi Coast is known for being the land of the orange blossoms and lemon trees. Enjoy the saltiness of the marvelous beaches and the wildest Mediterranean scrub, arranged in a vertical manner, together with the houses overlooking the sea and hidden in the maze of picturesque alleys. It is like a cluster of white houses, clinging to the rocks and connected by covered alleys and stairways. At the center of the main square is the Cathedral of Sant'Andrea with the spectacular staircase and the bell tower in Arab-Norman style. Your journey will continue visiting the splendid Positano, one of the most famous places on the Amalfi Coast, for its suggestive staircases and the whitewashed houses that follow the mountains course, creating a vertical landscape. Appreciated by artists and jet-set characters since the early post-war, the town is famous for the production of leather sandals, cotton and linen clothes and for the beautiful Majolica.
