Meet your guide and group (maximum 24 people in peak season, average 16 people) in our office near to the Colosseum. After check in and administration of earpieces to clearly hear your guide, together you will all head up to the Colosseum. Your guide is fully licensed and enthusiastic- they will have you hooked from the word go as they introduce you to Ancient Roman history.

When you arrive at the Colosseum of course you will skip the long line to enter. But not only this- you will enter the Colosseum through a privileged entrance, the so-called Gladiator Entrance. The entrance is known as the Gladiator's Entrance for a reason- it is literally where Gladiator's made their triumphant entrance into the Colosseum for their infamous combats. You will literally follow in the Gladiator's footsteps as you step out onto the Colosseum's arena stage. This area of the Colosseum is closed off to the general public, so it will be a truly special experience.

As you stand on the arena your guide will explain to you all about the combats that once took place there. Your tour will then continue to the two main rings of the Colosseum. Here you will continue to learn about the monuments fascinating past, all entertaingly delivered by your guide. You will never be bored as you listen to tales of Emperors, Gladiators and everyday Romans. The two hours will pass by in a flash!
