I have been trying for 5 days to get my refund for the tour I had to cancel. We are renting our own car. Isabella says I cannot have a refund but I booked under the understanding that I can cancel up to 72 hours prior to my tour. This is what their website says. This is the response I received via emial. "WE ALREADY BLOCK YOUR DATES AND DRIVERS AND REFUSE OTHER BOOKING! NO WAY OR YOU DO THE TOUR OR YOU WILL.BE NOT REFUND. THIS IS OUR LAST EMAIL TO YOU. YOU ARE UNPROFESSIONAL" I then sent a very nice email apologizing and offering to forfeit a 20% deposit and this was the next response (copied exactly from my email) "NO REFUND" I have been trying for days. I have given 3 weeks notice of cancellation. I am well within the cancellation policy for the company. I'm sure the folks that do the tours are great but I cannot believe the false advertising on their cancellation policy. Here is what is posted under their cancellation policy online... "Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 72 hours notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by phone to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price. " Do not book a tour unless you are absolutely sure you are not going to cancel for any reason.

TL;DR: I did a half day wine tour with this company that only involved stopping at one winery, and then being taken to a medieval town, which was not on the itinerary. Not an unpleasant experience but not what I was expecting and certainly not worth the price tag. If you look at the negative reviews here and on TripAdvisor, you can see the kind of customer service this company provides - they leave verbally abusive responses to all negative reviews. Would not recommend in the slightest. I'm sure I'll get a verbally abusive response here too! I was directed to Under the Tuscan Sun tours from a blog post detailing different types of popular wine tours. It described their half day wine tour from Florence as involving visits to two wineries, a meal, and a stop for panoramic views. This seemed like a great way to close out the last day in Italy with my mom and a perfect belated Mother's Day present for her. We were expecting to be part of a shared group (when you book the tour it mentions that there might be up to 16 people) but we were the only ones on the tour. This seemed unusual since we were visiting in mid July, and there were tons of tourists everywhere we looked. We were further confused when ur driver mentioned another van had left earlier with six people, but we had been at the meeting point 30 minutes early and seen no other vans or people for Under the Tuscan Sun tours, and furthermore we never saw six other people on a tour. Furthermore, we only stopped at one winery, and while we tasted a whopping nine wines (one white, seven red, and one dessert wine) I only had a few sips of each, thinking we would be going on to another winery. The food was outstanding at the winery and we enjoyed most of the wines, but we felt a bit rushed through dinner, and we felt very pressured to buy at least four bottles of wine and have it shipped back home, to the point that my mom was nervous to ask if we could only buy one, but more nervous of not buying anything. The prices seemed a little high (there was also a lovely balsamic vinaigrette that we got to taste, but at 51 euros for around 750 ml, we did not think it was worth buying, and the cheapest bottle of wine was 29 euros.) After we purchased our bottle of wine, the driver asked someone to give us a brief tour around the property, which involves seeing where some of the barrels were housed, some horses, and where some of the grapes were growing, about 15 minutes total. After that we got back in the van, and our driver asked if we would like to go visit a medieval town before going back to Florence. This was not on the itinerary as far as I knew, but not wanting to have paid so much to only visit one winery, we agreed and had a short stop at the town, which was underwhelming. We then drove back to Florence, stopping briefly to see the sun set over the city on a beautiful vista (there was a huge crowd of people there too, it must be a super popular spot) and were able to snap a few pictures before the sun dipped below the horizon, which was nice. He then took us back into the city and dropped us off where he had picked us up. He was a nice driver and told us some facts about the region and its history on the way to and from Florence. It would have been a nice tour overall if 1) I hadn't paid over 300 US dollars with the conversion rate to visit only one winery (not including what we paid for the bottle of wine) and 2) hadn't been expecting to visit two wineries, but I did and I was. The driver never told us our itinerary at the beginning of the "tour", and adding on the trip to the medieval town kind of seemed like an after thought. I can't get Under the Tuscan Sun Tours' website to load without directing me to some spammy site anymore, so I can't even check to see if my assumption of visiting two wineries (and that blogger's description of the tour involving two wineries!) is wrong or not. In conclusion, I would not recommend their tours or their company to anyone.

I had very unpleasant cooperation with this company. I work in the Incentive House - MICE business. I expect from the local partner on the spot respect, flexibility, honesty and manners. That way business goes smoothly. However, the owner of this business is extremely rude. I believe the owner has a bipolar disorder or schizophrenia - anyway mental disorder. He acted very weird - as" driver" he was very nice - and all changes wasn't a problem at all, as the owner of the company he was extremely rude and talking like crazy person... I work for a pretty long time in this business and it never happened to me before. For ex. I was explaining very clearly my thought, in the middle I was interrupted, yelled at , and I was told to "stop talking and listen"... This is NOT how you do good business. The owner speaks very, very weak English and doesn't understand a lot from longer conversations. The company still owes us money for some transfers that were suppose to be arranged and they weren't... Very unprofessional business... If you plan to use their service, be sure that whatever you arrange in advance is untouchable. You pay upfront whole amount and then you wait for what could go wrong... Definitely not a professional incentive service!
