Piazza dei Sanniti, 44/46, 00185 Roma RM, Italy
Great Italian food and atmosphere. The only negative point is that none was speaking English so hard to understand the dishes. Cannot thought rate anything else than 5 star!!!
Whilst visiting Rome with a couple of friends we decided to try this place, as it was recommended by a guide book. As a vegan I had lots to eat - I had pasta, artichokes and tomatoes then wild strawberries for dessert. All delicious. The only issue I had was that people were allowed to wander round the tables (outdoor) trying to sell us things, which made us feel awkward.
Authentic Roman eatery since 1890. Great food, and attentive service. Excellent selection. Option to dine inside or outside - reservations recommended.
It's a good place where you can have fish, sea food, meat or pasta. The quality is good, service fast enough. Only thing I did not like is that it's a little bit too expensive and house wine is not good.
Honestly, used to be one of my favourite places in Rome but it has lost its charm. The carbonara were an omelette and the anti pasti were scarce. Used to be my first stop in Rome. Now I'm not sure.
