Once again a nice place by the water. Like many other religious places it is well maintained and located in a prime location. Unlike many other sites you can access the main buildings by elevator. We took the stairs but I thought it was nice to give access to all. It’s fairly a small place to visit. There are some tables where you can have a picnic with a nice view of the Lake. Make sure you bring cash because they don’t take credit cards.
Stunning tranquil site with beautiful church with wall paintings, overlooking the lake. Steep walk down or there is an elevator available, requiring a token. Cafe and pretty grounds near the car parking.
Some years ago was all free.. you can go, enjoy the place , feel the history. Nowadays is all about making money: elevator does cost, as the visit to the small church. So yes, nice place but in contradiction with what should be the "house of God".... You're welcome if you pay. It should be free , it should be for the soul and not for the pocket
A beautiful old convent. With exquisite artwork, set into a really lovely location. Well worth a visit
Updated prices:ticket per person 5 euro. You can use the elevator for an extra euro per person, or go down the 240 stairs which is very short and nice. You can get here by car or by the ferry. It's a really nice place with beautiful views.
