Corte Contarina, del Bovolo, 4303, 30124 Venezia VE, Italy
Beautiful palace. Amazing to imagine the work that went into this building. From the extremely talented architect to the physical labor. The place was packed (first week of September). There are a few restaurants and cafe's to sit. Unfortunately it's forbidden to sit on steps or the ground anywhere, in fact, you can't even buy some ice cream and sit down in front of the shop on the chairs, cuz those are strictly table service. Interesting.
3 stars not because it was mediocre, but because I didn't go in so I can't really give a good or bad review. Didn't get to go inside because I was strict on time. Also didn't want to pay because I don't know what it's known for. The architecture was cool and different though. No heavy traffic in the morning so get there around that time if you want to go inside. Would recommend it. Venice is great!
A stunning piece of architecture but once inside it is rather underwhelming. The view at the top is not as fantastic as I would have hoped, being able to see very little apart from a few rooftops and not a spectacular view of Venice. The Tintoretto room is, quite frankly, a disappointment due to there being only one piece , plus some questionable modern art. Nice to view the building but seriously not worth paying to enter.
A nice tower and stairs, just don't expect more. The price is so high but the view is so poor. Definitely not worth visiting. Take a picture down from the garden and save your money.
A beautiful little corner, found in the middle of backstreets. It's like a small little piece from a old story book enchanting with some interesting history to it. It shows the classic old build and there are no tourist hoards to find. So great to relax . And not crowded like the rest of Venice.
