Via Zamboni, 33, 40126 Bologna BO, Italy
It's is a small museum but has its own charm. You will find a bit of everything there as probably you would expect from a university museum. Expositions cover anatomy, medicine, zoology, botanic, war, history and more. All of this plus a nice old library makes Poggi an interesting place to visit.
Make sure to come here with comfy shoes and a full stomach because, as usual, while the museums seems quite small, Italian baroque decoration never disappoints. There are things everywhere. Yes, there are collections but the building in itself is good enough to careful watch frescos and delicate architecture. This is my first time, but clearly I have to return because I'm sure I'll discover something new every time.
Worth visiting. Cheap museum with interesting exposition if you like science and history.
Very interesting museum for any lover of medicine or science. It’s a very unique anatomical exhibit, as each specimen is made of wax and wood.
Wirth a visit in Bologna, impressive artifacts and well-kept facilities.
