Great place to learn about the production of high quality Italian products and a wonderful place to grab a meal! Use a bike as a grocery cart and bike around the facility! The park is divided up into sections; meats, cheese, vegetables, bottled products, and sweets. I appreciate that the sweets sections is also sports themed to encourage responsible eating. Outside you can find examples of the natural products from inside; grapes, hops, cows, pigs, etc. The park was relatively empty when I visited but with a cheap shuttle ride from the city it's not hard to get to. Definitely worth a visit, but time your visit to end around dinner time so you can enjoy a full meal!

Great outing for the whole family. There is an excellent selection of eateries and food stalls for both fresh and packaged delicacies. More than that, there are lots of interactive displays that are fun and educational. Almost all displays had English translations. There is a large outdoor farm animal display, indoor sports facilities, playgrounds and theatrettes. Three wheel bikes and electric scooters are available as a fun way to get around. All up an excellent day out for all ages.

FICO World Eataly is a huge food show - think of an exhibition at the NEC or Excel in the UK - but on a permanent basis. It’s brilliant. There’s animals in the farm. Fresh fruit and veg growing (even truffles!) and the inside factories and exhibitions from every type of food supplier going. Shops galore and loads of places to eat. You could easily spend 4+ hours here. Yes it’s probably a bit more than a supermarket for food, but it’s all in one place and all the best of the best. Worth a trip!

This is sort of a touristy place, but if you don't know a lot about the food of this region, you won't get a better overall education anywhere than the shops here. I have found the vendors at FICO to be smart, conversant in English, and well versed in their products. It's a tremendous advantage to be able to talk to an actual producer about the specific qualities of types of honey, chocolate, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, meats, and pasta. Not to mention the sweets. You could do worse in Bologna than spend a couple of hours looking at food, talking to the vendors, and imbibing. You'll also have a better understanding of Italian culture, and how food production shapes it.

This is a great place to find some of the famous foods in Italy under one roof. Here also provide some workshops included wine tasting, gelato making, italian beer making, pasta class and so on.. Recommended to take a FICO tour to understand about this place.
