very nice cascading waterfalls. there was absolutely no mud on the path (unless you fell in the freezing water). the flowers have started to bloom, but the trees are still bare. note our round hike had elevation changes of about 150 meter (use strava to check). so it's not all easy despite being short (just over 3 km) .

I understand the serenity of the falls but its nothing exciting. A nice walk etc. Crystal clear water today :)

The Bucamante waterfalls are located in the Municipality of Serramazzoni in the locality of Granarolo. The most direct road that leads from Modena to here is the SS 12 Nuova Estense, in the direction of Serramazzoni – Pavullo nel Frignano. Just a few kilometers after Torre Maina (4-5 km), you will find the crossroads for Pazzano and the signs for the waterfalls (on the right). In order not to be mistaken, I entered the destination "Bucamante Falls Parking" in Google Maps  The road to get there isn't very wide, but it isn't very busy either, so it's easy to get there. I got there around 12.00 on a Sunday at the end of August, the car park wasn't full and everything was very easy. However, I also read that sometimes there can be a lot of people and that to park it is better to opt to do it where you can on the road to Pazzano. Once you get to the waterfall parking lot, you are down at the trailhead. Here you will find a sign that will show you the way and show you with some photos what awaits you. Take the dirt road, following the signs and, a little further on, after a very short walk of a few hundred metres, you will find yourself facing a crossroads: here you will have to choose which route to take. There are two paths that can be traveled, which eventually join up: Odina, the lower one that runs along the river, and Tityrus, the upper one that looks down on it. Both are within everyone's reach, including children who move independently, a good pair of sneakers is enough to walk them Take the Ondina path which runs alongside the waterfalls. In 25 minutes you will complete the route.

Group of small waterfalls not far from the municipality of Serramazzoni, easily reachable from the Estense state road. Not very large dirt parking about 10 minutes from the path. Three types of noteworthy waterfalls, placed in a row going up the path along the river: main waterfall, mossy waterfall and lion's paw waterfalls, very particular. Trail within everyone's reach, pity only a little neglected in maintenance with several fallen trees in the middle. Ideal for a picnic or a quick trek.

Today I discovered this new place, really unexpected, in contact with nature. It is a set of cute and suggestive mini waterfalls, surrounded by greenery, where human intervention is reduced to a minimum, just a few wooden fences. The dense vegetation creates a pleasant coolness despite the normal summer heat as soon as you get out of there; In short, it seems to be in another dimension! It is possible to position yourself with towels along the edge of the water, eat something brought in a sack and even take a nice, fresh and invigorating bath! A place to disconnect from the daily routine and relax: recommended!
