Capo Caccia, 07041 Alghero, Province of Sassari, Italy
Amazing view, and beautiful place to see the sunset!
Capo Caccia is one of the most beautiful natural sites of Western Sardinia. Situated not far from Alghero, this rock formation jutting into the sea is visible from far away and adds depth to the horizon that you see from the city. You can combine your trip to Neptune's Grotto with a visit to this area. Some of the pictures that you take if you are arriving by boat will make this natural wonder seem gigantic. That's because as you get closer to the tip, your photo angles are low. Close-ups of the rock will be reminiscent of the heads of some marine animals. It's a magical place.
The "sleeping man" who protect Alghero gulf from the huge waves of Mistral gales. Terrific view from the cliff but the most relaxing scenery at sunset
Wonderful place. Worth to visit
Well worth the trip , an oxygen tank might be needed for the walk back up
