Caravaggio’s .... Bernini’s .... and other incredible artwork.. we have been coming to visit almost every year over the last 25-30 years. This year we started focusing specifically on a couple favorite artists mentioned above!!! Please!!! If you intend to visit go to the sanctioned site and purchase your tickets in advance. You will pay about $15-18 dollars or euros - no more!!! I was shocked to see the vendors outside the museum waiting for the unsuspecting tourists who paid two and three times the actual costs. “Skip the line” and other type agencies waiting for tourists to get the tickets they purchased from their countries. The truth is that the Borghese museum is well organized with timed entry every 2 hours..... the groups walk in and are out in those two hours. Do a little research up front and know what art you want to see and you will have 2 hours to see those pieces..... don’t be taken by vendors outside of the Borghese and pay double or triple. This is an absolute treasure of Rome. You will be within inches of some of the most amazing pieces of art.

A little confusing getting in - renovations occurring (Oct 2019), but helpful staff. Good audio guide (5 euro), fantastic displays of paintings and sculptures in a beautiful building. Lovely walk through a park to reach it. Timed reservations required, smaller museums - can comfortably see in 1.5-2hrs.

The most beautiful collection of art I have ever seen. Came here as a university student, so the waiting time was not too bad. The place can get a bit crowded because of the limited number of people allowed inside, but honestly, the whole experience is so worth the wait. Bernini's sculptures were breathtakingly beautiful.

A museum that must be visited! Berini's fantastic work alone is worth coming here. The museum is small, and that's good: there are no crowds of people here, like in the Vatican. The museum is located in a beautiful park. Important: it is better to buy a ticket in advance, on the museum's website, as the number of tickets is limited.

Absolutely spectacular! Be warned that no bags are allowed, except very small handbags. You can put your belongings in a locker for free though, so don't worry.Fabulous place & some truly amazing artwork. Visits are limited to 2 hours, which can make the visit a rushed. Toilets on the staircase are worth a visit. Cafe is good too. Well worth a visit if you like art.
