Brodick Castle, Garden and Country Park
Sarah:The grounds at Brodick Castle are beautiful, with plenty to explore. We visited in the spring time so the gardens were just starting to bloom. If it does start to rain, nip inside for a tour of the rooms and a game in the vintage arcade.
Image - Goatfell
Sarah:If you fancy a bit of adventure, I highly recommend taking a hike up the island's tallest mountain – Goat Fell. It took us about four hours in total and the views from the top were gorgeous!

Sarah:No visit to Scotland is complete without a wee dram of whiskey! Nestled in a perfect location, only a short walk from the Lochranza campsite. We booked the cheapest/basic tour and we received two samples of whiskey and a complimentary glass. We were lucky to spot a couple of golden eagles during the tour which finished it off perfectly!

Sarah:The best place for fresh fish on the Isle of Arran. We shared the wild garlic pesto mussels and a Thai fish curry
Image - Blackwaterfoot
Sarah:We had a lovely walk round Blackwaterfoot, offering us beautiful views of the stunning Arran coastline.

Sarah:Another beautiful sandy beach on the Isle of Arran.

Sarah:We didn't get a chance to tour the brewery but we were able to sit outside with a tasty Arran Ale in the sunshine.

Sarah:Lovely pub garden with a view across the water – the perfect place for a pint of Tennents.

Sarah:The castle isn't very spectacular, but it's a great place for wildlife spotting. We spotted lots of seabirds here as well as a family of deer and stags.
