The food was good, friendly staff. It's a bit pricey understandably for a tourist attraction. We loved the view and food. To be honest I'll only recommend Boat Yard if you are in Dingle for a day. Don't waste money on bar food as my experience with them was just awful and they are over prised and overrated. Boat Yard Restaurant for a fine dining experience in Dingle.

I ate here with my family during a week long holiday in Dingle. Food was good but not that much better than other surrounding restaurants or bars to justify the higher cost. The biggest let-down was the very small children's dishes. It costs very little to load on extra mash or chips. We asked for more mash and were charged extra. All other meals we had in Dingle served much larger children's portions. Staff were not the best. Did not have much knowledge of the food or drink menus. Also not very chatty or attentive. This restaurant is much more suited to couples or groups than families. Total cost of meal for two adults and 3 kids was just over €100 (mains only and 1 drink each). Similar in other restaurants during the week we stayed averaged €75 for more food of equal or better quality with friendlier service.

Lovely restaurant, with good food. We had a really nice dinner. A plus for parents: the kid's menu has coloring and games on it... What a great idea to keep them busy !! 😄

Needed a nice place for a late lunch on our own away from the more touristy fish and chips shoppes down the street. The two of us shared the seafood platter plus half a dozen oysters and mussels. So glad we splurged on this upscale meal. Met all the desires for a little bit of this, and little bit of that fresh from the sea... when in Rome

Best calamari I've ever had. Had the fish and chips for my entree and was beyond satisfied. Only regret is not getting dessert! Seems to get busy in the evenings, especially on weekends, so I'd recommend a reservation during peak hours.
