There’s so much I’d like to say about this, all positive. We weren’t sure if we should pay for the trinity tour but very glad we decided to. The guide was excellent and gave a detailed history of whiskey production in Ireland as well as the process of creating whiskey. At the end we were given 3 whiskeys the distillery produces and she explained to us what to expect and how best to drink them. Make sure to visit!

Informative and fun tour of a functioning distillery producing fairly upmarket Irish whiskey. Owned by a couple of brothers, this factory sits in the heart of the Liberties where there once were 37 distilleries producing about 60% of the world's whiskey. This is newly opened and others are returning concentrating on crafting the more matured and nuanced whiskies. Our guide was friendly and well read in his history and production techniques. There isn't a huge amount to see and only very limited interactivity as the Distillery is pretty compact. Some tanks are open to look in and there is an opportunity to sniff a few barrels to see if you can guess what was in them. Still the upside of that is that you're sitting down to a tasting in about 40 mins. In our group people had opted for three different tasting options and it was all laid out waiting for us. It was interesting just to hear what others were drinking even if we couldn't all taste it. The guide was able to answer plenty of questions especially about maturation which is where a lot of the mystery and art seems to lie. As with all these tours you finish next to the bar and gift shop which was lightly stocked with good whiskey and good quality things you don't need. The cafe downstairs has good coffee and really excellent sausage rolls.

The premium tour was totally worth it, if just for the whiskey alone. Sweet-based whiskies with character. Amazed at how the 3 year whiskey was already so complex and good. Tour guide was clear and knowledgeable as well. Chocolate pairing was provided due to a special event as well :)

One of the best distillery tours. More intimate than Bow Street and a lot less busy. Really fun and knowledgeable tour guides. Loved the fact that my wife and I could take different packages because she doesn't drink and still go on the same tour. Single barrel rum cask is an absolute must try

Loved the tour at the Distillery. Very personable. Nice to be part of the history. Tour guide made it real. Learnt loads even though i have been to many tours. Totally recommend it. There is a cafe on site so you can enjoy a coffee before or after. The tasting was great and informative.
