13 O'Connell Street Upper, Northside, Dublin 1, Ireland
Definitely worth it if you want to see most of the attractions in a couple of days. Plus you get offers at selected bar/restaurants with your ticket. Good banter with the drivers. Enjoyed the hop on/off experience. Bus routes can change due to other events, road closures. Hard to get a seat during peak times, weekends.
We just had a one-night stopover in Dublin and booked the night tour to get a quick overall picture of the city before having dinner. The driver/guide (Matt with 2 ts :) ) made a lot of jokes and we had a great time.
In my Viator purchase they called themselves the City Sightseeing Dublin Shop and did not have any mention of Big Bus Tours or a picture of their bus in any section of the itinerary. Additionally, two separate addresses were listed. I did not find the meeting information to be sufficient or straightforward in the information I was provided and ended up missing my tour because so. I did not find that to be very professional. They proceeded to say they list the desired information in their response to this review, but that is not the case at all in the literary I received from Viator.
Really bored!!!! Sat on the Big bus tour for an hour and a half, from stop number 1 to stop number 7. The brochure states this should take 3/4 of an hour. It seemed we needed to stop at every stop for 5 -10 mins. Children are totally bored and disillusioned. Not much information given about places and features of the city. We hopped off at stop 7 and will not bother hopping back on. We have wasted enough of our time and money.
Loved it. Well recommend. Shows you everything. You can get onor off where you like then get back on
