Oh this place was great. Really cheap authentic Balinese Babi Guling. A selection of soft pork belly, Crispy skin, sausage and side pieces. Washed down with a crisp beer. Wish I'd gone back for more before we left because I'm still thinking about it! It's tucked away down a side street, there are amazing pig carvings. Better to go at lunch time as I hear it gets busy, we were served without fuss didn't wait long either.

Well, maybe because i visit the branch restaurant not the original one, but the service is quite a let down. Many of the menu were not available, even the signature dish is missing. The place is naturally chill as it near the forest but the place is quite hard to reach to be honest. The service was slow, the cashier needs to take a lot time as they are quite laidback and even chat leisurely when you already standing in front of them. The taste is decent but not worth the effort. It is all i can say for my first experience here.

Arrived for dinner at 6 pm, a lot of the main menu items were missing already. Poetion was smaller than what appeared on the menu photo. Paid 55k for the special plate + 35k for a large beer + 9k for tax, which is not bad but I heard the locals pay less and probably don’t get charged the extra “tax”. We’ll never really know :/. Restaurant appeared very dirty and we could hear pigs crying in the background, which took away my appetite. I felt it was a “must do” since it’s a local specialty, but I would never return here again. Final say: SKIP

Food was not as great as expected, the food came out as soon as we ordered it. It was cold and as if it was left sitting out for some time. Staff were friendly, I believe it was the time of day we visited that let the restaurant down. Pricing is good, just wished the food was freshly cooked for us.

Great traditional suckling pig restaurant. Tasty, juicey chunks of pork with crispy crackling and steamed rice. Get in early as they run out of crackling fast.
