This place has so much potential. The location is amazing, the views are beautiful, site is huge and there are so many different pools. The flumes were fun, too. However, the price was very expensive, the staff were rude and the music was dreadful. Not only that, but we found a caterpillar in the food we were served and when staff were informed there was not even an apology. The worst thing about this place were the flies. After bathing in the lovely, warm spring water, being exposed to the breeze made us feel cold, which is to be expected, but we couldn't sit in the sun to dry out and warm up without being covered in bluebottles. This made the day frustratingly uncomfortable, which might have been less unacceptable had the staff been nicer and the price not so steep. One of the staff actually tried to put my friend's trainers in her locker and, when my friend stopped her, she even tried to claim that they were her own shoes. Again, when staff were informed they didn't seem to care at all. I will never ever pay to visit this place. There are other hot springs nearby. I suggest trying them instead.

Beautiful views. That is the only saving grace and the delicious coffee I had looking out at the mountain. Otherwise, this place is absolutely disgusting. - pools: the pools are dirty, they’re not hot and have no seating around them. Even if you did sit and try to relax, you would be attacked by flies. The kid’s pool was a horrifying brown and teaming most likely with bacteria. - buffet: very overpriced, sad options that look like food poisoning - spa: this woman had no idea how to give a massage. I left feeling more tense after- she was putting her fingers in my mouth. - overall: this place is quite expensive, the staff are rude, the showers are what I would expect to see in a jail and they charge you to swap your towel. You can’t even wash off the filth after leaving. Avoid at all costs unless you want to sit with a coffee looking at the lake.

I can only rate on the hot spring pool areas. Beautiful temperature and surrounds, great unobstructed views of the Mt Batur landscape. Pity the visit was so short but it was the last part of a day tour. It was a great way to enjoy the afternoon before leaving the Mt Batur area.

Not a hot spring, but more like a water park with water "from the hot spring". The water is warm and relaxing, and the infinity edge pool overlooking the lake is beautiful. The lunch buffet was delicious, but didn't include drinks and the wait staff wasn't very quick to bring drink menus or take our order. Swim through an artificial cave to a bar, where the drinks are delicious and well-priced. The coffee bar also had a great selection. I got the mochaccino and it was delicious.
