Absolutely stunning and beautiful. Perfect ambience, accompanied by God's nature of amazing rocks, fantastic crashing waves, and the most beautiful sunsets. The cocktails, food, nibbles and service were impeccable. One of the best venues (bars) in the world. We were thoroughly spoiled and were treated like kings and queens. The DJ played top tunes, and even later had a real classy band. If you come to Bali, you have to experience this slice of heaven.

This place - Rock Bar is one of the must visit restaurants in Bali. Be it a date or a family dinner, you can choose this place. The sunset view is the one to die for. The place has many spaces divided. So depending on your comfort you can select a place of your choice and sit there and enjoy the view with the music. It is one of the tourist attraction and you can find people from various countries hanging out here. The food is also good. This place is situated in a resort, even if you aren't staying at the resort you can visit the restaurant.

One of the best sunset bars in Bali as it’s located in the south. Parking is spacious, the grounds are huge inside Ayana Resort. The way down to the bar is very enjoyable. From lobby to the bar it takes maybe 5-10 minutes to walk. Once on the cliff, there’s usually a bit of a wait to go down via the tram car. Be warned: from about 5-6pm there’s usually a rush so if you don’t want to wait come earlier. And the sun is directly in your face and can get quite hot. If it’s too hot, ask staff to bring you an umbrella. Although a bit hot, the sunset is worth the wait. Have been here 3-4 times. Will go back, not for the mediocre food but for the view.

No main course here, just finger foods - still it was good and very affordable. If you get one with the sunset view, the price you pay are consumable. Just get there early since they prioritise checked-in guests. Also, you will have to wait for an hour or two with the sun across you, that is why an umbrella is provided in the seats. You have to endure the heat if you want to get a good view of the sunset.

Overrated turist attraction; there are much better places to enjoy a sunset in Bali. It could be great but it lacks vibe and the umbrellas... man, never seen anything so ridiculous and it's very uncomfortable. No chance to get a spot in the actual rock bar , better known as top bar, nor in the cliff bar, as these are booked weeks in advance but the in house guests. Mind you there are 700 rooms in the resort, so as i said no chance. You have to sit in the scorching sun under a small black umbrella that's got no stand whatsoever, so the umbrella is either hand held or rested on the table forcing you to sit quite uncomfortably... The drinks are pretty boring but expect 5 star prices. Small bites menu available, but nothing exciting.
