Ancient local temple. Nice view of the mountain at the opposite of the temple. The high slop of the entrance have to pay attention and carefully. In case of anyone want to take the photo with the beautiful gate inside the temple. Better to go in the morning. Otherwise have to wait for many queue in the noon.

Very beautiful temple. People have to sometimes wait more than 2 hours to get the iconic pic 'Gates of Heaven'. Worth waiting for getting the right pic. There are people who are sitting there to take your pics. No entrance fee but you are supposed to give some donation.

Don't waste your time and stand in line for the famous mirrored photo. Quickly take a picture when people change for the photo at the gate of heaven. The part behind the gate of heaven is much nicer. Be sure to go there with your own scooter, since parking with cars is a hassle. There is no parking place, cars are parked on the side of a steep road. Take your own scooter to the second temple up hill since it's quite a climb, from there on you can explore the other temples.

There is no lake! They do the famous picture wit a mirror. We were there at 8:30 and waited for 1h and then left without the famous picture. In total we would have probably had to wait for 2.5h to get the photo. I tell you photoshop works as well ;) and there is also a nice view on the volcano a little bit beneath the temple

It was a drive for 80km, and it is worth every effort. I am drawn towards this humongous volcano Mt.Agung. It stands majestically and the view from temple can say it all.
