Great to learn about the history of Indonesia. museum Fatahillah located in the centre of the old town, the museum was not too big but had many things to see and explore. It's a beautiful architecture building and great square to strolling around in the evening. Ticket price is cheap.

A nice place to learn about Old Jakarta.. Like in other museum..I encourage you to ask for a guide.. They can help you to understand more about the museum collections..They also have many stories about the collections.. The place is quite well preserved.. And the also held special attraction in the park on special days.. One of must visit when you're in Kota Tua area..

A stunning historical place. We, Indonesian people, will always remember how colonialism is always leave a bitter mark in a nation people. Always thankful to God for His merciful, blessing us with this independence and sovereignty.

Museum is great, ticket price is cheap, but there was no tour guide (or maybe we didn't get offered because we are local people i don't know). There was a bunch of student when i visited the museum, and it was so crowded that it disturbed another tourist. It would be better if the museum staff coordinate with the school to manage their student so we can enjoy the museum together.

I enjoyed this part of our walking tour. This museum looks really well maintained, and also huge! You could easily read through the information posted. I could only marvel at the intricate details of furniture display during the Dutch colony, and we had fun guessing what kind and of which use like a mere book case which looks like a grand door! I hope they'll improve on the ventilation as it could get really really hot inside! More Fans please?
