its very dark inside. we need to rent lighting. long exposure n tripod is recommended for good photograph. underwater lighting n camera are very recommended. some light will enter cave at noon, and after. public facility is very minimum. no bathroom, no lighting, no footings, 'emergency' changing room without roof are available.

It's nice to know a hidden gem like this.. It was guarded by local people, and the way downstairs is a bit slippery but with the guide assistance, we get to the pool just fine.. The guide is a big help in this deal, because they would not just guide you, but would make sure the lighting provides the best colour possible for the picture.. They even had a crew to show how to jump from the rock to the water.. It's a beautiful yet serene place since not many people know..

THE BAD: Never recommended for tourists especially kids. Being initially excited of the previous reviews, I was at the end left with doubts why on earth this site is proclaimed as a place of interest after paying IDR 5K for an entry located 5 minutes walk from the nearest car park. The entrance was completely dark, small and far from secure. You just practically walk down into the entrance, stop and look down into the pool barely seen around 15 m below the entrance. The only way to get down is by descending cautiously the rugged slippery cliff. The water seems to be okay but you would end up bathing in a pool of water that goes nowhere. Decided not to go down as its absolutely not worth of bathing neither taking photos. But if you have nerve and a bit of luck you would probably get want you want down there, but not for me especially women or kids. Wear a strong and sturdy shoe or even a helmet just in case!! The GOOD: Its presumably a natural well in a less developed karst cave formed of local fissures. As a geographer its would be a rare encounter with a natural preserved cave with fresh water and a bit of underdeveloped stalactites in this island dominated with limestone type of rocks. The site guide was friendly offering additional charge on lighting and camera shoots.

The place is narrow but beautiful. First, you need to get down, using your hands and feet. A bit slippery. You need to rent lighting provided by the locals in order to enjoy the scenery and take pictures (since it's dark down there). You can also swim, and dive down there. Not a suitable spot if you bring children.

It's a cave formation which is beautiful once you reach the water after going down into the dark cave. Worth a visit.
