Honestly, this mall is pretty nice from the outside (beach side). It's got a nicely lit up staircase as well as some good restaurants. It almost has a Bali vibe. That being said, this mall is completely dead. I'm not sure what they were thinking when they built this thing. Nobody wants to pay 25,000 IDR just to go to a mall (entrance fee to enter Ancol). It's also quite hidden, most people I know that live in Jakarta have never been to this section of Ancol. My guess is that it will eventually be made into a hotel with only the front section as a mall/eatery.

Good place to escape your daily 'Jakarta' routines. Still its traffic to you who will park the cars here. But a lot of attractions that you might have to enjoy

Was a private beach with strict control, now it is merged with Carnaval beach which makes it more crowded. However the beach is still well maintained. The sea water, black 😄

Good view and nice sunset. Comfortable for family and kids. Many choices of restaurants and rental playing for kids. 3D museum is recomended. Instagram Able for taking picture. Standard not too expensive.
