Tomb of Akbar The Great Area, Sikandra, Agra, Uttar Pradesh 282007, India
I feel jealous of this guy. Choosing such a great place to be buried. The tomb of Akbar the Great. One of the best attractions Agra has to offer. Ticket costs less than rupees 50 per person and there is no extra charge for cameras. You have to walk a bit through the garden and it is highly recommended that you carry an umbrella. You must take a Binoculars with you - You will know why when you get there. The entrance / Gate is itself marvelous. You can find Filtered drinking water and Bathrooms if you take a right after you go through the gate. You can find Deer 🦌 , Black bucks, Parrots, Peacock, Silver owls 🦉 and some random birds inside the compound grass fields. This is where the binoculars come in handy. The tomb contains a few graves, there isn't much information about them but what's more amazing is the architecture. The tomb is designed in a way that it reflects architecture. At the center of every single dome, both inside and outside, you will find sound amplification. There are places where you can sit and observe the wildlife. The place is mostly symmetrical. Hope you enjoy it.
Beautiful Architecture, well maintained gardens (not allowed there),. In Garden there are many dears, peacock you will easily spot them. You will find signs of Christianity, Hinduism and Islam there. Construction stated by Akbar himself only but completed by Jahangir. The main gate is also beautiful but resting place of Akbar is simple. Gallery of tomb at centre of each section if you clap then you will hear vibrations of it. It was amazing. It is great for Photographers and family outing. 1-2 hours is sufficient for this place. Must visit if you are in Agra.
Really an amazing place full of natural beauty around as well. The most thrilling moments are the running deer and hyenas.. The inside atmosphere changes as you can see a lot of love birds... Making 😍 ☺
One of the most underrated monuments in Agra. It's full of bliss. You'll feel like spending some time sitting in peace. The lush gardens are full with flowers and deers , blackbucks and peacocks moving around. The mausoleum is Grand and makes you feel that Akbar the Great is inside. Check the echo/telephone effects of the domes in the building.
One of the most important place to visit in agra. It's a piece of old architectural beauty. But people should carry drinking water and umbrella in summer.
