Has some Historical aspect of Goa. Quite informative place, and you get nice viewpoints from the top of the fort. If you visit Goa, recommend visiting this place once. Nice relaxing point, and you get to know a little more about Goa's history as well. Quite Well-maintained for a very old fort. Had a Good Time visiting.

Neat and clean fort with a nominal entry fee. Perfect place for pre wedding photo shoots. If your are planning to visit, be prepared to walk uphill and climb stairs. Beautiful view of the sea from the top. Closes around 5:30-6pm. Preferably avoid visiting on a hot sunny day.

A beautiful piece of history restored by the the Govt of Goa along with Intach Foundation. The fort also houses an display of Goa's very own Mario Miranda's art works. Would loved to have either guides or display boards provide some details about the detailed history of the Fort. Wish more such places are restored to this standard.

It's a very ancient and beautiful fort. A lot of prison cell can be seen there, the walls of the fort are dark brown, which witness its age. The for looks very solid and has many good sites spreading on many floors and basement also. This fort is very near to see, you can enjoy the sea view from the terrace, it looks beautiful. When we visited shooting of some movie was going on there, so it is a place of attraction for film fraternity also. Very cool and peaceful place, must visit place, if you visit Goa.

This is a brilliant place. I'm so thankful to the Government of Goa that this place was restored. The church, the cemetery... Everything seems like an architectural poem. Don't miss the parasite tree at the front gate of the fort.
