Mysore Palace gives majestic view from outside. It's beautiful to say the least. One can get mesmerized by the intricate designs present on walls of the fort. One will also find a temple in the same space. There's also a separate older house to visit but I don't know why would they put extra ticket for it and it's not even properly organized.
Visit this place on Sunday or any national holidays. On these days you will be able to see light show from 7-8pm. This palace looks so beautiful in the lights. And if you want too see something more beautiful then wish for rain during light show. Good Luck guys.
Anything less than 5 star is absolutely less for this amazing entity. With 97000 lights, it was illuminating like it can be seen from heaven. Amazing architectural marvel with temples also being inside the premises of the palace. And the view is stunning. For someone who is some history geek, this palace is much more than what words can speak.
One of the most beautiful palaces I have ever visited! Exquisite designs and intricate woodwork. There's a collection of life size oil paintings of royal family in display and scenes from battles and royal life are kept on the walls of passages. The color palette of interiors, lighting and symmetry all helps to evoke the ambience of a bygone era! Our six year old enjoyed the visit as much as we did.
One of beautiful palace in India. I visited there when I am studying diploma. Very interesting place. Palace is extraordinarily beautiful. No words to describe. When we saw the palace we get wondering because how beautiful they made it. Architectural was perfect and beautiful. On that year they made like this means it shows only there caliber. Palace inside you can see the sward of the king and there tools, furniture's etc.. its really awesome.
