Grand Trunk Road, Bhattian, Ludhiana, Punjab 141008, India
Has some old weapons rifles, swords, daggers from 16/17/18th century. Otherwise dedicated to war effort of Indian army post independence. Has some old tanks , guns, armoured troop carriers etc. Lacks Maintenance and upkeep. Seen much better museums. If you have nothing else to do then visit this place.
Located at GT Road Ludhiana before Toll Plaza, Ladhowal, this museum has a collection of arms and ammunition from the times of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. A good place to visit for those who likes traditional and historical things.Valour and sacrifice of our brave soldiers, who sacrificed their lives to secure us is a must see museum for all tourists particularly young. This contains portraits of top gallantry award winners and inspires you.
A good place to visit with family. The museum is well maintained in some sections and some sections are neglected, but overall a glimpse into our war history is a rewarding experience. The lawns are beautifully maintained and that was a welcome addition.
It was a wonderful experience. The uniforms of the Army and Air force were outdated and smelly. Other than that, it was a pretty worthwile experience.
One of the museums in Punjab that exhibits 12 galleries which tell the story of all battles fought till Kargil war. Landscape is nice. Display of mig and battle tanks is also good. It is just next to Tiger safari in Ludhiana. So if you are here for musuem you can visit tiger safari also and vice versa. Timings are 10AM to 5PM. Ticket cost Adult Rs. 40 and children Rs.10
