I was disappointed to pay so much for not being left alone during the visit. I would be ready to pay more and spend less time and not being bothered by people trying to make you for prayers you did not ask the priest to do. (True story )
Construction work is so fine and looking so nice...there have 6600 nos of monk structures. Interior work carving is so beautiful
There are two we visited. The first one by Patwa built about 600 years ago and the second at Lodurva built 1100 years ago. Architecture can only seen to he fathomed as regards the amount of work put in then. The Patwa temple could do with some loving care. The lawns have shrivelled and in a state of disregard. Lodurva appeared to be abandoned. Has currently less than 100 people staying; as per local info they are Rajputs who crossed over from Pakistan in 1971. Most houses are in a state of ruin, crumbled. Demographic change due to water shortage. A ready image of what Bangalore and Chennai would look like in the near future. The temple is in very good shape. There is a sense of calm and peace one can immediately feel upon entering the complex. Not a rush visit.
Nice architecture.. Some were comparable to da Vinci and Michelangelo of great Renaissance time...
This temple Is too old and beautifully design
