Gujarat 362135, India
No need to give review on this as Everybody know about this place but what I find is we need to work on save animal campaign. Gir is the best place to visit. You will found tigers and lions here roaming here and there at this place. Must visit place.
The Forrest looks dry, A roaming lion is difficult to find out and it depends on luck. The place is good and do not forget to book ticket earlier to enjoy a jungle safari .
This national park is world best tiger reserve as far as nos of tiger is concerned. Park is the part of dry deciduous gir forest. Wild lovers can wander here by jeep safari through out the year . Tiger spotting is quite easy here in comparison to other sanctuary. Variety of accommodation is available all around the different park gates.
Excellent, a great and charming view of the natural forest along with mindblowing wild life. I was impressed. Probably the best national park in India.
Gir Forest National Park is a wildlife sanctuary in Gujarat, western India. It was established to protect Asiatic lions, who frequent the fenced-off Devalia Safari Park, along with leopards and antelopes. Gir Jungle Trail, outside the fenced area, traverses deciduous forest and is home to wildlife including vultures and pythons. The Kamleshwar Dam has marsh crocodiles and birds, such as Indian skimmers and pelicans.
