Must visit... You will enjoy the journey and the place.... Enjoy the awesome view from the view point... I loved travelling to their more than the place... Can spend some 30mins over there depends on the crowd... Snacks are available in plenty.....

It's not about the place it's about the journey to there I like most.... Awesome roads and a heaven climate... Good for driving ( roads are not good enough but nature is at it's best )

13km from coonoor, it is a good places around. Best part of the trip is beautiful road with tea gardens. At many points you can go inside tea gardens and capture stunning photos. Dolphin nose is dead end, car parking is available at 50rs. And entry fee is rs. 10 per person and 20rs. for camera. There are lot of monkeys so take care of mobile and food items. You can see waterfall also. Sometimes cloud comes in the way and it becomes very foggy and looks more beautiful. Road is little narrow at many points and passes through dense forest. So be careful while driving.

The extended tip replicates the nose of a dolphin hence named so... Nice place to visit.... Go.... The tea plantations on the way to Dolphin Nose view point are lush green and connects you with nature... One can buy tea powder cocoa chocolates etc from the shops on the way.... Hot cooked Maggi is available near the view point... Be careful with the monkeys... Don't carry food items or handbags instead prefer to carry a backpack with all your items in it...

The view from the view point is amazing. You can see Catherine Falls slightly to the left and it is awesome. We went during monsoon season so it was cloudy all over and we saw the Catherine falls through the gaps of clouds. It was really memorable.
