The tour will start in the morning when we will pick you up from your hotel in Reykjavik. Then we will be driving South to visit one of the most beautiful lava tunnels in Iceland. The Raufarhólshellir it's known for the abundance of the colors of different minerals that builds the walls of the tunnel and for the shining wall bacteria living in the cave. You will enjoy the walk inside the tunnel for approximately 1 hour during which pour knowledgeable guide will tell you all curiosities about lava and volcanism in Iceland. Don't forget to bring your camera as you will be amazed by all the colors of the minerals and rock formations.

The next highlight of the tour will be the true geological wonder the Unseco Reykjanes geopark Geopark - the only place in the world where the Mid-Atlantic Ridge is visible above sea level. In the park, we will enjoy the view on two beautiful geothermal lakes Kleifarvatn and Grænavatn lakes, abundant in various colors Krýsuvík and its surrounding hills.

Reykjanes Peninsula is also famous for its geothermal areas of Seltún and Gunnuhver which will be our next stops. Then we will visit one of the oldest lighthouses in Iceland - the Reykjanesviti and the surrounding basalt cliffs.

After making some photographs of the basalt cliffs, we will have a walk on the bridge between the North American and the European tectonic plates.

After the day full of sightseeing, we will relax in the Blue Lagoon one of the most popular natural geothermal areas in Iceland. while taking the bath you can also enjoy a drink and try their silica beauty mask. Please book your entrance to the Blue Lagoon at least 2 weeks in advance at blue lagoon.is as it is not included in the price of the tour.

If you don't feel like having a bath, you can always have a walk around the area, take photographs of the blue steamy pools and have a coffee on the Blue Lagoon's cafe.
