What to expect?

Departing from Reykjavik in the afternoon our destination is Skagafjörður where our guesthouse The Puffin palace, is in the small fishing town Sauðárkrókur.

After breakfast on day two we go and visit a nearby farm for a horse show, where you get to experience the way of daily works that goes into breeding & owning horses in Iceland, and about their history.

Glaumbær, Skagafjörður heritage museum is the next stop, where it is possible to see a traditional old farm and the way Icelanders used to live in the old days.

On the way to Reykjavik, your guide will be on the lookout for Northern Lights and make stops on the way if sightings are possible.
