Stops on this tour:

✓ Urriðafoss waterfall – Iceland’s greatest waterfall in water quantity.

✓ Tré og List – A charming museum of wood and art craftsmanship, full of wonderful pieces made by the local farmer.

✓ Old Icelandic Farmhouses – The old Icelandic farm: Step into the old turf house and learn about sustainable architecture from way back.

✓ Strandakirkja – Rural Church – A stone throw from the beach, where the bitterly cold sea meets harsh volcanic rocks and black sand.

✓ Krísuvíkurbjarg – Stunning black cliffs. Here, thousands of sea birds nest. You can hike along the trail to the edge of the cliffs where it’s possible to spot
kittiwakes, puffins, peewits, guillemots, razorbills, and other birds as they dive into the sea. The great stretch of cliffs at Krýsuvíkurbjarg are amongst the best bird-watching sites in Iceland; in summer, 60,000 residents nest within the sheer face.

✓ Krísuvík – Geothermal area where you can take a walk between the boiling mud puddles and smell the solfatares.

✓ Kleifarvatn – Nestled below a steep mountain, the seemingly deserted space is an attractive spot for a quiet walk over small black lava rocks.

✓ Little Extra Touch – We will add some local touch and different places to visit depending on time, weather and mood.
