Dettifoss Private Tour
This super jeep adventure will take you to the East bank for a tour of glorious waterfalls including Europe's most powerful waterfall, Dettifoss. You'll also get to mingle with the friendly locals, learning their unique way of life.
What to expect?

From Mývatn we drive for about an hour to Vatnajökull national park. There we start off by visiting Hafragilsfoss, as long as snowfall and road conditions allow for it. Hafragilsfoss is a 27m high waterfall on the edge of Jökulsá canyon where it is 120m deep.

From Dettifoss, we hike for about 2-3 km to visit Selfoss, an 11m high waterfall, and then return to the jeep. This rough landscape of basalt pillars and waterfalls is like something from another world.

On our way back we can stop at Mývatn Nature Baths.
