Nice big boat. 3 hours trip. Nice views etc. We didn't got the whales which seems to be quite normal despite all the marketing about whale watching. But as compensation they gave us free tickets for next trip valid 2 years👍🏻 So if you like boat trips it's nice, if you want to get whales - think twice.
Didn't see much of whales. I think there a not a lot near Reykjavik. Better spend time on something else.
Great tour, even though the whales didn't really cooperate :) We didn't see many whales, but the setup, the guides, the gear and the boat worked great. And because we didn't see any whales, we got a voucher for a classic whale tour to use within 2 years - so that was cool.
An exciting and informative way to see the whales, but at closer contact. One time a full trip to see them, second time the water was too choppy for a whale trip so we switched to the puffin visit and - what a surprise- whales were in the harbour/bay. Great staff, helpful and thoughtful.
We took a 'premium puffin' tour with this outfit and had a blast. The boat is smaller and fast, which means you get to the puffin islands quickly and can get closer in to the rocky shore for better viewing. The operator moves you in close and cuts the engine so you can look at these little gems peacefully. The boat seats only 12 so reservations are essential. The people are professionals and I felt safe and secure the whole trip. The protective suit you climb into looks intimidating, but its all part of the fun. I'd have no hesitation having my grandchildren along for the ride. Our guide was knowledgeable and pleasant.
