Austurstræti 10a, 101 Reykjavík, Iceland
A delicious meal, in really neat environment, two floors to choose from for seating. Decent pricing, and some good menu options. I would go back, especially after a week of mostly living off of the sandwiches that most of the places in Iceland sell.
In true Icelandic fashion you can only buy alcohol at these shops. The armed guard was a little unusual to a Brit but the shop offered a good range of products at the best (only) prices in town. Work on the basis that it's around 15-20% more than buying from a UK corner shop. This particular store was right on the main street so very accessible. Beware much earlier closing time than in the UK
Good selection of liquor. If you’re visiting, BUY AT DUTY-FREE INSTEAD. You’ll save 50-70% from taxes. Opal was 3100 ISK here but only 1210 at the airport. 😭
Limited selection of better quality wines
Good solection of alcohol not the cheapest but on par with the area for prices
