What a gem. The exhibit is well worth the entry fee and the views are phenomenal. We started outside at the Viking houses and moved inside. You can even go upstairs and stand inside the ship! Parking is free and an elevator is available for the upstairs exhibit and view.

This place is tiny. The entire place took me 20 minutes. The highlight is definitely the Viking replica ship, however there's little else worth going for. The taxi was also $20 each way...ouch!

Awesome museum, a wonderland for people who are into all things Viking. Could’ve spent a whole afternoon there if I wasn’t rushed for time. They have a buffet breakfast too and it is included in the price of one of the tickets I think.. beautiful location as with everything in Iceland and good food, Good exhibits, they have various things you can buy too and plenty of history. Loved when they let you play traditional games with instructions, you can wear the traditional garb and click pics.. well worth the visit.
