Defiantly worth a visit. Went there Oct 2019 The woman on reception went through what to do.. very friendly You go into the changing rooms and remove your shoes and place in the rack. Get unchanged and place all you clothes in a locker and take your towel and shorts ( in my case) with you. They is another rack by the showers for your you to leave your towel etc. You then have a shower Yes your are naked ..remember your in iceland😀. Shower gel is provided. Then enjoy the pools We did a bit of lane swimming first. . Lanes to suit all abilities There are several other pools/ spa pools at varying temperatures starting at 6-12 degrees, right up to 42 degrees.. There is also a sauna. Hot hot hot.😀😂😂 It was minus 0.5 when we were there , with a bit of a wind chill , but you didn’t notice it . Except when you changed pools. pools were good. Mixing with the locals.😀😀 totally chilled.. Would definitely do this again

Don't bother with the tourist-y Blue Lagoon or Secret Lagoon. This is unequivocally the best hot spring in the Reykjavik area. 1000kr for the whole day, very intuitive locker areas (even for a foreigner like me), and friendly locals. I would come here every day if it was not 4000km away!

Relaxing, family-friendly. 1000 KR admission incl locker, not towel. Store onsite sells swim suits and goggles. Fairly clean but busy place. Sandals/pool shoes recommended. Lots of options for hot tub pools. Swimming lanes and open pool for kids with slide. Recommended.

There are few things more Icelandic than going to the pool and soak in the hot tub for a bit, maybe grab a bit of sauna or steam bath and chat with people. Vesturbæjarlaug is one of my favorite pools, it has character, a wide range of hot tubs to relax in and a friendly atmosphere. If you want to do something "authentic" in Iceland, going to one of the pools is an absolute must. Remember, the pool is for rest and relaxation - something that is difficult to do if I have to rest and relax in your beauty products and/body dirt so please clean yourself before you join me ;)

Excellent local swimming pool. There is a pool for swimmers plus other hot pools, a steam room and sauna. If you buy the city pass entrance is included, making it a bargain.
