This was a fantastic place for our anniversary dinner while we were in Iceland. We started off with the puffin and whale apps. My wife loved the puffin. And we both loved the whale, think delicious steak. We then had the Lamb and Lamb neck. Wow, just wow. So delicious. The Lamb neck was so tender. Finished dinner off with the creme brulee for myself, and my wife had white chocolate mousse with dill sorbet. Yes, I said DILL. It was weirdly delicious. The service was knowledgeable and friendly. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Well worth the visit. Best dinner we had while visiting Iceland.

It was a great experience. We where a big group. The menu was mostly fish but it was delicius. The presentation was all great. The people where very kind and friendly. The prices are higher, but it was OK when you take the taste into consideration.

Absolutely incredible food. We tried the whale and puffin starters and I had the lamb main, my husband the juicy seafood pasta. And it was all INCREDIBLE. Some of the best food we've eaten anywhere in our travels around the world and for the price (not cheap) we would definitely go again!! Highly recommend it.

My mom and I went here twice during our 4-day trip. They served excellent food and they have super friendly staff. And their desserts are just lovely. I highly recommend if you’re visiting Iceland. 😋

After a little delay in getting greeted by our waiter (confusion on who we belonged to?), we had an absolutely wonderful meal. Got the “big grill” and it didn’t disappoint; 4 starters, 2 mains, a pre-desert and a dessert and we rolled out of there having tasted a wide variety of meats and fishes of Icelandic and other origins. The wine pairings were spot on. Highly recommend. Also completely accommodated our gluten free needs. We deemed it our best meal all year.
