Overall nice. Some grassy spots, but the ones with power were more like parking spots in a gravel parking lot. Nice bathrooms. Needed coins for shower if you wanted hot water. Very nice indoor kitchen area -- we were able to cook for our group of 11 and eat inside out of the rain/cold. Very cute little seaside town.

Very crowded, full of people from ferry boats riding to Seyðisfjörður from mainland Europe. It was difficult to find a parking spot, but otherwise the crowds were not a problem. There were no huge lines for the toilets etc. I really liked the common area with dining tables, stoves, sinks, microwave and shared kitchenware - a warm and nice place to cook and eat.

I pitched a tent in August. It is a beautiful town where the Faroe Islands ferry comes, so the town has more things like shops and restaurants because of the flux of tourists. The campsite is great. However, there are a lot of RVs and I think it got quite full if not actually full in the late evening. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. There are washing machines and dryers which I believe you must pay for. Overall, this campsite and the beautiful town with a lake at its center are worth the visit. The drive there offered some breathtaking views.

Not a bad place to stay overnight. The facilities aren't too bad. For having a nice kitchen they oddly enough don't have a microwave... but otherwise great place, beautiful.

It's more a car park than a campground. Most of the space for campervans is on gravel. In early August we had to park as close as each other as on a mall parking lot. Nevertheless there are kitchen facilities, toilet and showers (hot water for a fee). Proximity to three restaurants and the charm of the little town still made this stop very worthwhile.
