It is a shame that Google doesn't show it as a café, only a guesthouse. We found it by accident and had one of our best lunches in Iceland! Amazing Thai soup and delicious trout salad. And very nice people! This place certainly deserves to be shown as a restaurant option in this town
We had a pleasant stop to get gas for the car and relax. We enjoyed the view with some coffee and a cake. The staff was very friendly.
Great place to stay in east Iceland! Clean rooms and really spacious bathrooms!
Hotel was kind enough to help us out when we could not get in touch with original hotel to organise late check-in. So glad we ended up here. Very lovely staff. Large, clean rooms and comfortable beds with own bathroom. Nice communal area offering coffee and tea, as well as lounge room upstairs. Very reasonable price for the area and the facilities. Nice cafe attached.
I was in panic in an orange alert near here during my trip. I couldn't get to my accomodation which I booked ealier because the road was closed due to the strong snow storm (I have never experienced such a horrible snow strom and terrifying wind before) and I asked one kind lady to help me and she introduced me this guesthouse host Helena. Helena is very kind and helpful she helped me(shaking in panic) very carefully. I'm really grateful for her. I couldn't thank to her because she wasn't at the guesthouse when I leaved so I leave this review. people! I highly recommend you to stay here then you'll meet the genuine warmheart icelander lady Helena. thank you Helena!! one traveler from s.Korea
