Excellent experience, staff was very attentive even during the busiest dinner rush. The food was delightful and the beers were cold and flavorful. I opted for a pizza since I am traveling in a van alone and the extra food serves as a great snack for tomorrow but all of the entrees I saw served were well plated with good portions. The prices may seem a little high but Iceland factors in your tip to the price of the meal so it comes out pretty even in the end. Great cozy atmosphere to boot. Highly recommended!

I agree with most of the reviews here. Staff are pleasant and quick, the food is as good as it gets. We did not have a reservation and they were able to accommodate us on a busy night. Somebody recommended the lamb, it was the best we had in Iceland. Given the Icelandic prices, you are getting decent value here.

Really enjoyed Restaurant Sudur Vik! The food and service were both great- highly recommend the lamb. The prices were reasonable, especially compared to comparable restaurants in Iceland. The restaurant itself is cute and cozy. Would absolutely recommend.

Absolutely delicious food. We had pepperoni and their garlic bread sticks. Delightful. I got soup envy though because the table next to us got the soup and it looked amazing. Really friendly staff, conveniently located, and some nice views from the restaurant.

Great stop in Vik. We were hungry and this was satisfying! The fish soup is a must! The char was good. Small menu which makes it easy. We went right when they opened. Staff was great!
