Really unique experience to visit beach in Iceland. They heat the sea there so you can swim in lagoon that is around +17 or swim in non heated Atlantic ocean. There is one warm pool too. I assume that there might be a couple days during the summer when you can take sun but Iceland is of course bit cold country.

In the summer the sea in the bay is heated but that only heats the top thin layer and it is still very cold. But this makes getting in the hot trough better as it is all tingly. It is very popular with locals which makes it a bit special to enjoy as a foreigner. In the summer the facilities are free with a small charge to get valuables looked after. A unique experience, highly recommended

Oh, don't I love this place! Advisable to go weekdays in the morning (rarely crowded). Here you have a hot pool, a steambath, the cold ocean... a great option for urban explorers!
