Had a great time alternating between cold sea and hot tub. Lovely beach, staff very friendly and helpful, really cheap for a very special place.

Lovely public facility with nice coffee and teas at the cafe. You can rent swimsuits and towels if you need to. Looking forward to returning here in the winter!

Great Beach to hang out, swim and relax. You have sanitary facilities, showers and a kiosk there. You can swim in the ocean in an little bay so the water is refreshing (there are lifeguards). There are two hot pools too. Very clean since smoking and drinking alcohol is forbidden. And all of that for free. Not many tourists, mostly locals.

Believe it or not... we have a yellow sand beach with warm sea (ok, not warm, just warmer) in Reykjavik. It is completely artificial (we basically put hot water into the sea... it's geothermal water) but it's very popular on "hot" summer days. There is also a regular hot water pool there which is nice. I'd recommend checking it out if the sun is out :)
